This is a 56in/ 144cm wide 100% cotton medium weight furnishing fabric which has been washed and scoured to rid itself of initial impurities but still has plenty of evidence that it is an unfinished cloth left in it. It has a slub in the weave and ultimately would have been dyed. This is what has been left over from a fairly famous company who made matching curtains and cushion covers, amongst many other things I hasten to add. Their prices are now somewhere in the statosphere.
