Croft Mill's newest fabrics
Percale 96 in wide, white cotton rich poly/cotton percale sheeting, woven in Italy where they have a nose for fine fabrics. It’s a pity it’s not wider.

A very simple and lovely ditsy all over heart pattern on superb cotton poplin. A nice but darkish red print on a cream ground. The hearts are in cream surrounded by the red which has the tiny dots throughout. 45" wide.

A truly wonderful superfine 150’s worsted wool suiting fabric, 60” wide, in light grey with a fine white pinstripe at 5 mm intervals. There’s a small element of lycra to help with the drape but I’m blowed if it needs it.

A 60” wide pure new woollen suiting in a mid chocolate brown with a beige pinstripe at 18 mm (¾”) intervals. Almost a flannel in appearance and handle. Delightful.

60” wide wool/poly heavyish crêpe-like suiting fabric in dark navy. The yarns aren’t crêped, the effect is in the weave. As good as it gets.

It is a 60 in wide faux fur coating fabric in grey, which has been quilted to a polyester peach skin finished backcloth. The backcloth has then been embroidered and embellished with rows of tiny shiny brown sequins. Described ........

Whilst we’re swimming with the tide, it might be the best time to tell you about this next cloth. It is a moleskin trousering fabric, 100% cotton, 60” wide. It is described as red but it’s not. It is burgundy/wine colour fabric.

60” wide; clerical grey, 45% wool, 55% Terylene which gives you an indication of the pedigree and in fact was made by a very famous Yorkshire mill.
