Coating Fabrics

Do you have an ambitious sewing project in mind? We have some seriously good coating fabrics for you if you have; some heavy, some lightweight, some plain and some with very large checks or patterns. Something for every occasion! Below we have picked a small selection of our coating fabrics and have paired them with some really nice linings too.

Prada is a polyester and wool mix coating and jacketing fabric, with lovely draping qualities. It will look a million dollars, and, if lined with either our champagne viscose lining or Ted black viscose lining, it will look a treat!

Coats of a little colour - is a pale lilac wool, mohair mix coating fabric. Soft lightweight and warm to wear it looks delicious with our Paisley Changeant lining in Purple and Lilac.

Our British wool coating - Collosos is woven in Yorkshire and the herringbone weave in pale blue and cream is the perfect fabric for a coat or cape. You see it here with our designer dress lining with a small crown design woven into it.

Hob Goblin is a great value textured wool coating in black. It drapes beautifully and looks great with our ZV -100% viscose designer lining in black.

Pure Luxury - Boiled Wool in Plum, very easy to sew and looks great with our Changeant Lining in plum.

Give me is a Navy blue and silver grey fur coating, manufactured in France. We have matched it with our Coast - Navy Floral, a polyester tailors' dress lining.

Manuela is a beautiful lightweight wool mix twill cloth, perfect for a Trench coat or jacket, we think it will look particulary good lined with a patterned fabric just like Barbour do! This is a good quality cotton lawn with a map print.

Gingham Wool in red and white/ivory. One for standing out in the crowd! It goes perfectly with our superb Red Viscose Lining.

For something completely different we have we limited stock of this beautiful printed quilted coating and gilet fabric, it is double sided so lined already and ready to go!
