A very special tweed fabric indeed, likely to be seen in designer women's suits on the Paris catwalks. If you can have a go at making one, you’ll get one at a 100th of the price. The types of yarn in this are just fabulous, the fancy yarns are woven between a framework of champagne spun yarn, some are like tiny ribbons, some have the odd sequin, some are ombre, all in a melange together none of it is obvious but makes for a wonderfully interesting cloth. Be warned this does fray due to the nature of the yarns and construction, nothing you can’t handle though. We have it in two colours; at 150cm wide this one comes in a mix of many different types of yarn which are either champagne, pink, white, ivory, a hint of gold. | |
