The following 160 cm wide cloth come from a maker who’s claim to fame, in the fairly distant past , was to make typewriter ribbons and parachute cloth. Now may be those of you out there who can remember when I used to brag about having an association with this company simply because they were so good at what they did, then he rode up here they are. This one comes in royal blue and has a little rhumboid/haxagon shaped self-colour pattern. I think they were made for covering lightweight down gilets, they are showerproof I think more than that and they are made up of so much fine yarn you wouldn’t believe it, trust me I’m a cloth salesman.
