A cloth that sends me into paroxysms of stupidity

WHEN ALL AROUND…….

I’ve had a moment or two in my cloth life when I’ve been stuck for words and it’s all come out as a stutter or all the words jumble together and this cloth is one that sends me into paroxysms of stupidity. First and foremost it is 60” (152 cm) wide, 100% cotton. It’s as fine as any lawn and it isn’t plain; it’s off-white and it has a very fancy shadow weave and ladder-like fine stripe at fairly regular intervals up and down the cloth. The stripes are a slightly different colour, hinting on cream, and they have this rather nice lustre to them. Would look wonderful in christening gowns, nightgowns and every kind of shirt garment in between. Could even look like the sort of cloth used in Victorian petticoats.
