Starting life as a knitted jersey, the surface of this cloth has been pulled and teased thread by thread into a mass of long, straggly fibres, creating something somewhere between a shaggy knit, fabulous faux fur and, dare we say it, a rather glamorous carpet. In a dusky mauve pink, the extraordinary surface moves and separates as the fabric drapes, revealing glimpses of the knitted base beneath. Made from 100% recycled polyester, it weighs approximately 441gsm, so although the fibres look wild and wispy, there is real substance behind them.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAt 157cm wide, this is statement cloth with a capital S. Make an oversized jacket, coat, gilet, dramatic cardigan or even use it selectively for collars, cuffs and trims. We'd keep the pattern relatively simple because, frankly, there's already quite enough going on. The long shaggy threads do all the work, giving even the simplest shape movement, texture and an enormous amount of personality. It's strange, fabulous and ever so slightly ridiculous.
