Wool coating comes in many shades of Beige not separately you understand but all together – firstly it’s a herringbone weave – easily identifiable and in between the rows of herringbone are stripes of darker beige which vary in width from very narrow to a cm wide and every 20cm or whatever there is a row of three herringbones before the next stripe – so if you were to take a picnic blanket made from this onto the dunes- you would probably loose it but you wouldn’t take this as its too good and too heavy as well – A fabulous cloth.
