Description
The Foreman jacket is a practical and durable garment, inspired by traditional workwear of the early 1950s. Featuring a boxy cut, two-piece sleeves, a square collar, and multiple pockets (two hip pockets and one breast pocket), this unlined utilitarian jacket is designed to take charge. You can even opt to topstitch it in contrasting thread for added style.
Recommended Fabrics
Dry oilskin, cotton canvas and twill, midweight denim, mid-heavyweight linen, corduroy, woollen tweed.
Notions
Seam allowances are included in the pattern at 1.5cm, unless otherwise stated. You will need 4 buttons approx. 2cm/20mm diameter.
This jacket pattern has been cut and designed for a man.
*The lengthened version pictured is a size 38 at the shoulder graded out at the underarm/side seam to a size 42 and lengthened to a finished length of 110cm.*
