Description
The Estuary Skirt is designed for both comfort and versatility, featuring a soft elasticated back waistband. The button-front placket can be sewn with functional buttonholes or as a simple faux placket, making it an approachable project for all skill levels.
Style it with a classic or printed knit tee for a casual look, or layer it up in cooler weather with a cropped sweater, leggings, and boots. Practicality is key, with the option of patch or in-seam pockets. Plus, the length can be easily adjusted to suit your preference.
Recommended Fabric
Mid-weight linen and linen blends, soft cotton, silk noil, rayon challis, cotton ikat, and lightweight to mid-weight chambray or denim.
Fabric Requirements
If you plan to lengthen the skirt beyond the given midi length, additional fabric will be needed. You may also require extra fabric if your chosen material has a directional print, a nap, or if you want to match patterns for a seamless finish.
Sizes 0 - 8: 45" (115 cm) wide fabric: 2 1/2 yd (2.25 m) // 54" (137 cm) wide fabric: 2 1/4 yd (2 m).
