Description
The TN31 jacket is a modern and adaptable take on the traditional fishtail parka offering a comfortable and loose fit. Whether it is lined or unlined, this parka is versatile enough to be worn in any season. Boasting convenient features such as side pockets, front welt pockets, a back vent, and an optional drawstring waist, it provides both style and practicality.
Recommended fabric
Dry Oilskin, Oilskin (lined version only), Tweed, Wool, Cotton Drill, Cotton Canvas, Waterproofed Cottons and Linens.
While oilskin is a good option for retaining the parka's structure, the designers suggest that it could also be made with a more fluid fabric like Tencel Twill for a different effect.
For the ribbed neckline: rib that stretches by half its original size (e.g. a 10cm piece stretches to 15cm). Plain ribbing is recommended, but French striped ribbing is also suggested as an alternative.
For the optional lining: Barrier lining (if making the oilskin version), Brushed Cotton, Cotton Poplin, or a medium weight slip lining made from viscose or acetate.

Matching thread; six buttons, approx. 17 – 22 mm; 3.2 m of drawstring cord; 0.75 m of fusible interfacing for lined version.
