Description
This classic combination of a flowing Tunic and wide-legged trousers represents Vietnam's traditional attire. The Tunic includes waist shaping darts, a mandarin collar, tapered sleeves, and long free-hanging panels. It offers traditional and fitted sleeve options. The Pants feature a comfortable full-legged silhouette with a back zipper and faced waistline.
Recommended Fabric
Lightweight, drapey fabrics like silk, polyester, or cotton gauze for the Tunic and/or Pants. Consider embroidered brocade for the Tunic for added elegance. While Ao Dai pants are typically white, the Tunic can be plain white, a solid or patterned colour, or the traditional red and gold for a wedding garment.
