Alana & Alpaca - Jade

This Italian ex-designer fabric is a lighter, softer take on a classic wool coat material. Made from a 50% wool and 50% alpaca blend, it has a gentle brushed surface and a warm, airy feel without being overly heavy. At 261gsm, it’s a comfortable mid-weight that drapes nicely and works well for softer coat shapes, jackets, wraps and layering pieces.

The 135cm width makes it easy to lay out patterns, and the alpaca content adds warmth, loft and a slightly plush touch. It’s a quality fabric from an Italian mill, ideal if you want something warm but not bulky, with a clean, refined finish.
