FABULOUS fabric!! Getting softer as I wash it, but beautiful to sew with. Soft to wear with a nice smooth finish, the colour is gorgeous, true to the website images.
It's gorgeously soft. I used it to make a pair of late 1930s trousers and it was exttemely well behaved, though I would recommend pinning both sides of the seam before sewing to avoid unwanted movement. It's a delicious wool. If it could possibly be produced in other colours, I would be very happy.
I made blackout blinds for the front door windows, to keep the summer heat out. With no space for curtain rods, I mounted one on the metal door with magnetic hooks, and the other on the plastic window frame with self-adhesive Velcro on the frame and plain Velcro stitched to the blind. It all works a treat, and the hallway no longer turns into an oven. I was glad you had a remnant, it turned out plenty big enough.
I lovely fabric to work with. Washes well and does not crease. It has a nice drape and is light and comfortable to wear.
This dress has received many compliments

First time working with boiled wool and it was a joy. I made the Tessuti Verona raw edge exposed seam jacket which I am delighted with. The quality and choice of fabrics from Croft Mill is excellent and always my first choice.

I used the 6oz Stretch Denim - Mid Blue - to make a skirt and for the blouse I used another of your fabrics -Challis - Lauren Rose. Both beautiful fabrics , easy to sew.
The instructions were very good and easy to follow, but although I was careful about measuring myself it was s size too large, fortunately I was able to make the adjustments. I will use this pattern again, but in a smaller size. Despite this issue, the dress has turned out really well and I'm delighted with it.
Great fabric that worked well for a summer blouse. Made using a custom pattern. Super easy to work with and lovely to wear, especially in the heat of London, due to its breathability.
Pattern: Instructions clear and concise. Very easy to follow. Style is very on trend but is a staple piece and will look great for years to come.
Skirt : McCalls 8390 pattern to match.
Fabric: Croft Mill L.S.D. Denim Italia. I pre-washed, pressed and sews up excellent. Beautiful Denim, so nice ordered again.
Thread: Gutermann top stitch
Excellent heavyweight denim for jeans. It’s the perfect weight in my opinion. Very good price too. The jeans are on the line having been washed to remove chalk marks.
I’d highly recommend this denim
Material was cut very badly. Quality and design of the fabric was lovely though. I also asked for matching thread and was sent cream. I expected a matching thread to be brown, cream is far too obvious for a fabric this colour. Not sure i would purchase from Croft Mill again based on this.
Lilly is a beautiful, soft fabric, handles well and has a lovely drape. It is delightful to work with and has an excellent, delicate, floral design for a vintage style pattern.
Such an easy pattern to use. Suitable for beginners. True to size. This was my first hoodie, I will be making many more. Just need to add the ribbing, then it's finish. Fabric used: Dead stock Stella Mackarney.
When I saw this fabric, I thought that it would make a fabulous jacket. The problem I had with the fabric was that I could not get an ease on the sleeve cap. The sleeve cap ended up resembling pleats. No amount of manipulation solved the problem.
