Whether you're in the mood for a laid-back skater dress, a chic asymmetrical skirt, a glamorous gown, an elevated tee, or a retro frock, the Grafton allows you to sew a myriad of looks, ensuring a unique and stylish ensemble every time you delve into your creative process.

Recommended Fabric

Select light to midweight knit fabrics like jersey, ITY, Liverpool knit, double knit, or ponte with a minimum of 25% stretch both horizontally and vertically. However, there are two exceptions to this guideline:

• Relaxed Bodice: Ensure a minimum of 25% stretch horizontally and at least 10% vertically.

• A-Line Maxi Skirt: Due to the weight of the piece, an ideal lengthwise stretch is 0-10%. While 25%+ is acceptable, adjustments in length may be necessary to accommodate potential vertical stretching.

If you opt to line your bodice (required for the square neckline and optional for all others), use either the same fabric for the lining or a lighter weight knit with an equivalent amount of stretch.

For the turtle neckband only, consider incorporating lightweight stretch interfacing (optional) to add structure and finesse to your garment. This mix-and-match pattern provides flexibility in fabric choices, allowing you to tailor your creations to your preferred style and comfort.
