| 80% cotton 20% wool, Italian made brushed cotton shirting fabric in pale pink. This is an excellent version of a Viyella shirting fabric. The original Viyella was woven in 55% Merino wool and 45% cotton. But, as is the way with many fabrics now, this became far too expensive to produce for the mainstream. So a modern Viyella fabric was born as an 80/20 cotton/wool mix. Similar to this fabric, it is a lightweight brushed cotton shirting that will keep you warm when it’s cool and cool when it’s warm. | |
