I always use anti stayic linings from Croft Mill for my skirts and dresses. Reason.....lots of colour choice and the lining is quality and so silky to the touch

Bought 3 different colours of this type of fabric. I chose this fabric to make 3 slips. I am a beginner so chose simple things to make. I was expecting to find working with this material difficult however, once I was able to iron the hems before sewing and used clothes pegs instead of pins to secure the material it wasn’t too fiddly. Happy with the results. I’d made a mistake when ordering however thanks to the company who rang me, it was sorted very quickly which resulted in the fabric and thread being delivered a couple of days later. Very good service.

Bought this to line some curtains where I just needed to cut the light down in the room. Chose a dark green as thought it was stylish because it went with colour scheme of the room, even though you can't actually see the lining from inside the room.
Probably not the most economical way to line curtains but it's effective at cutting down light, looks stylish and doesn't add a great deal of weight to the curtains and curtain track. The last point was important for me.
Even though the lining is thin compared to thermal linings it will still add another layer of insulation. All in all I think it was a good choice.

This package is excellent value for money, now I have plenty of good quality lining material on standby in my stash when needed. It doesn't matter if occasionally I use toning lining that doesn't match the main fabric. Easy to cut , wash and machine.
