I really like this thread for everyday use. The quality is perfect for my machine, and the reels work out to be much more economical than other smaller reels. I would still use another type of thread for topstitching, but for anything else it's Coats Moon all the way.

This cotton is not as easy to thread. It has a hairy appearance to it if you look closely. I prefer my usual Guttermans. Proof you get what you pay for if anything.

I love this quality thread. It is strong and doesn't snap. It is such a good price for its quality. The name Coats thread was so familiar to me in the UK . Its special quality I took for granted until I bought thread out here which does not match upon any way to the Coats Moon quality. I love it.

Perfectly good quality thread. I bought two reels for my over locker. I used my sewing machine to run off a spool of the thread which I used in the sewing needle part of the overlocker. It worked a treat, as I ran it from my separate thread thingmajig.
