Deadstock fabric is cloth that was originally produced for fashion brands, textile mills and manufacturers but never used. This can include surplus production, cancelled orders and end-of-line collections. Rather than being discarded, these fabrics find a new home with dressmakers, offering access to high-quality cloth that is often unavailable elsewhere.

At Croft Mill, our deadstock fabric collection is sourced from mills and designers across the UK and Europe. You'll find everything from Italian shirtings and luxury suitings to premium cottons, linens, viscoses and distinctive designer fabrics. Many of these fabrics were created for well-known brands, making them a great way to sew with exceptional quality at a sensible price.

One of the things that makes deadstock fabric so popular is its limited availability. Once a roll has sold through, it is unlikely to return.
