Description

Meet Ramona, a stylish pencil or mini skirt with thoughtful design details. Featuring a choice of a mini or knee-length hem with a back slit, it offers a side invisible zip, four waist darts, a curved waistband for a flattering fit, and a centre back seam. Add personality with either patch pockets or 60s-inspired faux flaps with optional buttons. Complete with an optional lining pattern and step-by-step instructions, including a free video tutorial for the zip.

Recommended Fabric

Main fabric: Structured medium to heavy-weight woven fabrics like corduroy, denim, drill, jacquard, tweed, or wool suiting.

Optional lining: Smooth, slippery fabrics such as cupro (Bemberg), viscose (rayon), acetate, or polyester.

140 cm (56") wide fabric: Mini-length, 1 - 1.5 m (1 1/8 - 1 3/4 yd) // Knee-length, 1.2 - 2 m (1 3/8 - 2 1/4 yd) // Lining, 0.6 - 1.2 m (5/8 - 1 3/8 yd).

115 cm (45") wide fabric: Mini-length, 1.5 m (1 3/4 yd) // Knee-length, 2 m (2 1/4 yd) // Lining, 1.1 - 1.2 m (1 1/4 - 1 3/8 yd).

Notions

• 0.3 m (1/3 yd) of 110 cm (1 1/4 yd) wide iron-on interfacing (similar weight to your fabric)
• 22 cm (9") invisible zip
• Optional: two 15-20 mm (5/8"-3/4") buttons for faux flap version
