Description

The Azure pattern is like a mini capsule wardrobe in one thoughtful design, offering five stylish views to mix and match. With options for a dress, skirt, and a sleeveless top, you can create coordinated outfits or stand-alone pieces. The semi-fitted bodice features a jewel neckline and back button fastening, with the option to fully line or finish it with an all-in-one facing.

The standout skirt design showcases diagonally gathered panels that add movement and interest, whether worn alone or as part of a flowing tiered dress. View A is a two-tier dress that falls just below the knee, while View B extends to a maxi length with three tiers. View C is a cropped sleeveless top that sits just below the natural waist. Views D and E are tiered skirts with an elasticated back—View D finishing just below the knee, and View E extending to ankle length.

Recommended Fabric

For a more structured look, opt for light to midweight woven fabrics such as linen, cotton poplin, chambray, voile, double gauze, batiste, or classic shirting’s. If you prefer a softer, more fluid silhouette, light to midweight drapey fabrics like rayon challis, viscose, Tencel twill, or silk crepe de chine are ideal choices.

Fabric Requirements

View A: 45" (1.15 m) wide fabric: 3 - 4 yd (2.75 - 3.75 m) // 58" (1.5 m) wide fabric: 2.5 - 3 yd (2.3 - 2.75 m).

For View B, add 2.5 yd (2.5 m) of 45" (1.15 m) or 1.75 yd (1.75 m) of 58" (1.5 m) fabric to amounts given for View A.

View C: 45" (1.15 m) wide fabric: 1.25 - 1.5 yd (1.15 - 1.4 m) // 58" (1.5 m) wide fabric: 1.25 - 1.5 yd (1.15 - 1.4 m).

View D: 45" (1.15 m) wide fabric: 3 - 3.5 yd (2.75 - 3.25 m) // 58" (1.5 m) wide fabric: 2 - 2.5 yd (1.85 - 2.3 m).

For View E, add 1.75 yd (1.75 m) of 45" (1.15 m) or 1.5 yd (1.25 m) of 58" (1.5 m) fabric to amounts given for View D.

• 0.5 yd (0.5 m) of lightweight fusible interfacing
• Views A, B and C: one 1/2" (13 mm) button
• Views D and E: 0.75 yd (0.65 m) of 1" (25 mm) wide waistband elastic

Orders placed on Friday may not be collected until the following Monday. This service is tracked.
