Description
Taking its inspiration from the classic trench, the funnel coat combines an oversized fit with a distinctive funnel collar and raglan sleeves. Fully lined, it features a wide buttoned front placket, a belt at the hips and pockets positioned just above the chest. Adjustable cuff straps add a practical finishing detail.
Choose between a short or long version to suit your wardrobe. You’ll need outer fabric, lining fabric, 175cm of interfacing, matching sewing thread and twelve 20mm buttons, along with your usual sewing tools and tweezers or a knitting needle.
Recommended Fabric
Choose a woven fabric with enough structure to hold the funnel collar and coat details, without being too stiff. Denim, wool, corduroy, waterproof gabardine, beaver nylon or cotton twill weighing approximately 200–300gsm are recommended. For the lining, use cotton satin, viscose or a suitable polyester or acetate lining fabric.

We aim to dispatch eligible orders placed before 1pm on the same working day, but this cannot be guaranteed. Courier delivery is generally expected on the next working day following dispatch. Orders placed on Friday may not be collected until the following Monday. This service is tracked.
We process orders Monday to Friday, so weekend orders begin processing the following Monday.
