Description

The Portland Shorts are a quick and easy sewing project with a relaxed fit and sporty curved hem. Designed to sit at your natural waistline, they feature a grown on elasticated waistband, in seam side pockets and a curved shaped hem with a side split. The finished shorts have a 10cm (4") inseam, making them a comfortable choice for warm weather and everyday wear.

There are two waistband versions included. Version A has a classic elasticated waist using 4cm (1½") wide elastic, while Version B has a paper bag style elasticated waist using 2.5cm (1") wide elastic.

Recommended Fabric

The Portland Shorts would work well in linen, linen blends, lightweight cottons, chambray and other light to medium weight woven fabrics with enough body to hold the curved hem while remaining comfortable to wear.

Royal Mail Tracked 24 - 1st Class Delivery: A faster Royal Mail option, typically estimated at 1–2 working days from dispatch. Please note that this is not a guaranteed next day service.
Courier Delivery: We offer a courier service via Parcelforce for customers requiring a faster delivery option. We aim to dispatch eligible orders placed before 1pm on the same working day, but this cannot be guaranteed. Courier delivery is generally expected on the next working day following dispatch. Orders placed on Friday may not be collected until the following Monday. This service is tracked.

We process orders Monday to Friday, so weekend orders begin processing the following Monday.
