Description
Sleek, smooth and beautifully understated, this black tailor's lining has a lovely satin-like sheen and a wonderfully fluid drape. Woven from a polyester and nylon blend, it has a fine, closely woven surface that feels smooth to the touch, with enough body to sit neatly inside tailored garments without adding unnecessary bulk. The deep charcoal-black colour catches the light with a subtle silvery lustre, giving it a particularly smart, polished appearance.
Perfect for lining coats, jackets, blazers and waistcoats, this is a practical choice for dressmaking and tailoring projects where a smooth finish makes all the difference. Lightweight at approximately 90gsm, it helps garments slip comfortably over shirts, jumpers and other layers. The 115cm width also makes it useful for smaller lining pieces, sleeves and tailored details. Nothing flashy, just a really good-looking lining that does its job beautifully.

Care & washing
Allow up to 10% shrinkage to be on the safe side. Wash the fabric before making up, in the same way you'll wash the finished make, drying methods included, so it settles once rather than after it's sewn.
