The medium ball point gently separates the fibres rather than piercing them, helping to prevent skipped stitches, fabric damage and laddering when sewing jersey, interlock and other knit materials.
Size 80/12 is ideal for lightweight to medium-weight stretch fabrics. The specialised ELx705 construction includes a second thread groove, supporting the high-speed stitch formation required by overlock and coverlock machines. These needles are suitable for many domestic overlock machines and selected coverlock models.
