Effortlessly sewn and incredibly adaptable, this coordinating top and trousers ensemble effortlessly creates a complete outfit, essential separates for layering, or a sophisticated faux jumpsuit. The top boasts an elegant square neckline, angular bust darts, and the choice of two versatile lengths – waist or high hip – all perfectly complemented by a convenient easy-to-sew facing.
Meanwhile, the trousers feature a wide-legged design with various hemline options (full-length, cropped, or shorts), an elasticated waist meticulously finished with horizontal top stitching, and the added possibility of optional oversized patch pockets at the back.
Recommended fabric
Light to medium weight woven fabrics. Use linen or chambray for a more structured silhouette, or viscose (rayon) or Tencel (lyocell) for a drapier look.
