Description

Gail is a semi-fitted, straight-cut jacket lined with synthetic down insulation. It showcases horizontal quilting on the front and back and diagonal quilting on the sleeves. The front boasts bust darts for shaping, and the jacket features a shortened shoulder line and two-piece, set-in sleeves. Achieving a rounded sleeve silhouette is accomplished with a shaped overarm seam.

Gail also includes a stand collar and front welt pockets, with a center front closure through a separating zipper and zipper guard. Belt loops at the sides secure the tie belt, and Gail falls to a hip-length.

Recommended Fabric

Outerwear fabrics, gabardine, dewspo, taslan, membrane, taffeta, PU-coated polyester.

Choose fabrics with the following properties:

- Light- to medium-weight, soft, non- or low-stretch, windproof and water-resistant

- The fabric content can include natural fibres (cotton), artificial fibres (viscose, acetate), blends (cotton + polyester, etc.), and synthetics (polyester, polyester + elastane, terylene/dacron)

For the insulation: Alpolux, isosoft, thinsulate, polyester batting 100 g/m2 + swan dawn

For the interlining: Spunbond 30 g/m2

For the lining: Fabrics made of artificial fibres (viscose), blends (viscose + elastane, viscose + polyester), or synthetics (polyester, polyester + elastane).

ATTENTION: Heavyweight, thick, stretchy fabrics (coating fabric etc.) are NOT recommended.

• Spunbound interlining 30 g/m2, 300 cm (118″) wide, without nap, 1.6 – 1.9 m (1 3/4 – 2 1/8 yd)
• Lightweight knit or woven interfacing, 140 cm (55″) wide, 0.25 m (1/4 yd) for sizes 34-44 or 0.3 m (3/8 yd) for sizes 46-52
• Filling, 700 – 1000 g (approx. stuffing of a 70 x 50 cm (28 x 20″) pillow)
• Alpolux insulation 100 g/m2, 1 m (1 1/8 yd)
• 1 separating zipper, 85 cm (33 1/2″) for heights 1-2, 90 cm (35 3/8″) for height 3, or 95 cm (37 3/8″) for height 4
• 2x top zipper stoppers for the separating zipper
