Description

The Wanda Wrap Dress sewing pattern from Wardrobe By Me is a feminine jersey dress with a fitted wrap bodice and a flowing six gored skirt. The bodice wraps closely around the torso, while the skirt has a generous sweep towards the hem for plenty of movement. The wrap front also makes this a practical option for breastfeeding, and the design accommodates B–E cup sizes.

Choose from four different sleeve lengths or make the sleeveless version, giving you plenty of options for different seasons and occasions. The fitted bodice paired with the softer, flowing skirt works particularly well in lightweight jerseys with a good drape.

Recommended Fabric

Lightweight jersey fabrics with good drape and approximately 3-5% stretch. Viscose jersey, cotton jersey and ITY jersey are all suitable choices. Avoid heavier or more structured knits, as the design benefits from a soft, fluid fabric.
