Woven from cotton and measuring around 154cm wide, this cloth has a light wax finish that gives it gentle water resistance while keeping the fabric flexible and easy to sew. It has a slightly crisp feel at first but softens nicely with use, developing the character that makes waxed cotton such a favourite for practical makes. A great choice for jackets, bags, aprons or anything that benefits from a sturdy cotton with a bit of attitude.

Waxed cotton is traditionally dry cleaned. If the fabric is washed the wax coating may be reduced and the fabric may require reproofing.
