Waxed Cotton - Chera 8oz - Camo

Rugged camouflage waxed cotton with proper outdoor character and the unmistakable feel of traditional oilcloth.

This cotton fabric measures approximately 148cm wide and has a sturdy 8oz (around 400gsm) weight, giving it a solid, reassuring handle that’s ideal for jackets, coats and hard-wearing bags. The waxed finish provides dependable protection from the weather while still allowing the fabric to breathe, making it a practical choice for garments that need to cope with real use.

Chera has a soft matt surface and develops the marks and creases that waxed cotton is famous for, gradually building a unique patina over time. Every fold, scuff and crease becomes part of the story of the garment you make. Finished in the UK by British Millerain, a name long associated with high quality waxed fabrics, it’s the sort of cloth that feels just as at home on a country jacket as it does on a sturdy everyday bag.

⚠️Due to the nature of this fabric we are unable to provide refunds on any returned wax cotton. Therefore we recommend you purchase either a sample where possible or half a metre quantities to ensure you are completely happy with your fabric.

The roll price is £30 for postage. However, if you’re happy for it to be folded please proceed as normal. By folding it will come with crease marks on the folds.

• Please allow 2-10% shrinkage on fabrics to be on the safe side. Wash before making up in the same manner as you would with subsequent washes (including drying methods)
• Please test a sample area first to find the most suitable way to wash your chosen fabrics, as we cannot accept liability for fabrics washed or treated incorrectly.
• Whilst every effort is made, we cannot guarantee that the colours you see on your screen are accurate because every screen shows colours differently.

We want you to love your order! If you’re not completely happy, you can return items within 28 days of receiving your order.

Please note that fabrics are cut to order, so a restocking fee may apply. Some items are non-returnable except where faulty or not as described.
