Corduroy and needlecord are two classic dressmaking fabrics that have been around for centuries. Both fabrics are typically made from 100% cotton and are incredibly durable and comfortable to wear. Corduroy is typically 14 wales per inch and has a shorter pile than regular corduroy, making it ideal for garments that require a bit of extra give, like pants or skirts. Needlecord has finer ribs and is 14 to 18 cords per inch, giving it a lighter weight fabric that is perfect for shirts, dresses, and light jackets. We have a wide selection of both corduroy and needlecord in stock, in a variety of colours and patterns. So whatever your needs, we've got you covered.
