Brushed Tartan - Thistle - Teal

A proper soft cotton tartan with that cosy brushed finish that makes you immediately want to make something for colder weather. Woven in rich teal, navy, red and yellow checks, it has that classic heritage look without feeling stiff or heavy. The handle is lovely and soft with an easy drape that works beautifully for shirts and relaxed everyday pieces.

This is the sort of fabric that makes you think of winter weekends, oversized shirts and pyjama bottoms you never want to take off. Light enough for comfortable wear but with enough body to hold its shape nicely, it would make fantastic shirts, dresses, skirts, lightweight overshirts and matching family Christmas pyjamas if you’re feeling ambitious.

• Please allow 2-10% shrinkage on fabrics to be on the safe side. Wash before making up in the same manner as you would with subsequent washes (including drying methods)

Standard UK mainland delivery from £4.95, with express options and same-day dispatch available at checkout. We process orders Monday to Friday, so weekend orders begin processing the following Monday.
