Softly Spoken - White

An exceptionally fine Italian ex-designer cotton shirting in a beautifully clean, soft white. The surface has been lightly brushed, giving it an extraordinarily soft, almost peachy handle without taking away from the crisp refinement of a good shirting cloth. Look closely and there is a very fine herringbone running through the weave; it is barely there at first glance, but catches the light just enough to give the fabric depth and that unmistakable sense of quality. 

At approximately 128gsm, this is light enough for shirts and blouses but has a lovely softness and substance that opens it up to dresses, gathered skirts, pyjamas and relaxed summer separates too. The pure, bright white makes the most of its subtle woven texture, and the finish really is superb. It's one of those seemingly simple white cottons where the difference is all in the cloth – beautifully woven, wonderfully soft and considerably more special than an ordinary plain shirting.

• Please allow 2-10% shrinkage on fabrics to be on the safe side. Wash before making up in the same manner as you would with subsequent washes (including drying methods)
• Please test a sample area first to find the most suitable way to wash your chosen fabrics, as we cannot accept liability for fabrics washed or treated incorrectly.
• Whilst every effort is made, we cannot guarantee that the colours you see on your screen are accurate because every screen shows colours differently.

Delivery

Processing Your Order: We aim to dispatch all orders within 1-2 working days. Our team is dedicated to ensuring your order is handled with care and sent out promptly.

UK Delivery:

Royal Mail Tracked 48 - 2nd Class Delivery: This is our standard Royal Mail service. Delivery is typically estimated at 2–3 working days from dispatch, although times can vary.
Royal Mail Tracked 24 - 1st Class Delivery: A faster Royal Mail option, typically estimated at 1–2 working days from dispatch. Please note that this is not a guaranteed next day service.
Courier Delivery: We offer a courier service via Parcelforce for customers requiring a faster delivery option. We aim to dispatch eligible orders placed before 1pm on the same working day, but this cannot be guaranteed. Courier delivery is generally expected on the next working day following dispatch. Orders placed on Friday may not be collected until the following Monday. This service is tracked.

We process orders Monday to Friday, so weekend orders begin processing the following Monday.

We want you to love your order! If you’re not completely happy, you can return items within 28 days of receiving your order.

Please note that fabrics are cut to order, so a restocking fee may apply. Some items are non-returnable except where faulty or not as described.
