Laura Ashley - Austen - Dark Steel

A deeper take on a classic neutral, this Laura Ashley Austen fabric is woven from 54% linen and 46% cotton, giving it a structured yet balanced handle. At 270–290gsm, it has the substance required for interiors, with a clean woven finish and a smooth surface that sits neatly without feeling overly stiff.

The dark grey tone brings depth and definition to a room, working particularly well in contemporary schemes or paired with lighter contrasts for a sharp finish. With no stretch and a stable construction, it’s a reliable choice for curtains, Roman blinds, cushions and light upholstery projects.
