Hector - Jet

Some black fabrics are "charcoal-y". Some are "washed black". Some are "nearly black". This isn't one of them. Hector in Jet Black is properly, unapologetically black. The sort of black that makes colours next to it look brighter and sharp tailoring look sharper still. Woven from 75% viscose and 25% linen, it combines the fluid drape of viscose with the character and texture of linen, creating a cloth that looks relaxed but always manages to appear smart.

At around 210gsm, it's substantial enough for trousers yet soft enough for dresses, shirts and loose-fitting tops. It hangs beautifully without feeling heavy and has a natural, understated texture that gives depth to an otherwise classic plain cloth. Whether you're making wide-leg trousers, an easy summer dress or a shirt you'll wear for years, this is one of those dependable fabrics that quietly gets everything right.

• Please allow 2-10% shrinkage on fabrics to be on the safe side. Wash before making up in the same manner as you would with subsequent washes (including drying methods)
• Please test a sample area first to find the most suitable way to wash your chosen fabrics, as we cannot accept liability for fabrics washed or treated incorrectly.
• Whilst every effort is made, we cannot guarantee that the colours you see on your screen are accurate because every screen shows colours differently.

Delivery

Processing Your Order: We aim to dispatch all orders within 1-2 working days. Our team is dedicated to ensuring your order is handled with care and sent out promptly.

UK Delivery:

Royal Mail Tracked 48 - 2nd Class Delivery: This is our standard Royal Mail service. Delivery is typically estimated at 2–3 working days from dispatch, although times can vary.
Royal Mail Tracked 24 - 1st Class Delivery: A faster Royal Mail option, typically estimated at 1–2 working days from dispatch. Please note that this is not a guaranteed next day service.
Courier Delivery: We offer a courier service via Parcelforce for customers requiring a faster delivery option. We aim to dispatch eligible orders placed before 1pm on the same working day, but this cannot be guaranteed. Courier delivery is generally expected on the next working day following dispatch. Orders placed on Friday may not be collected until the following Monday. This service is tracked.

We process orders Monday to Friday, so weekend orders begin processing the following Monday.

We want you to love your order! If you’re not completely happy, you can return items within 28 days of receiving your order.

Please note that fabrics are cut to order, so a restocking fee may apply. Some items are non-returnable except where faulty or not as described.
