Description
Gold and lilac make a rather lovely combination in this beautifully woven jacquard lining. The intricate paisley design catches the light, shifting between warm antique gold and soft lilac depending on how the fabric falls. Made from a polyester and viscose blend, it has a smooth, silky handle, a beautiful sheen and a fluid drape. At just 90gsm, it's wonderfully lightweight without losing the richness of its woven pattern.
Far too pretty to keep hidden, although it would make a fabulous lining for a tailored jacket, coat or waistcoat. Imagine opening a beautifully made coat to reveal all that glorious paisley inside! It would also work beautifully for decorative waistcoats, ties, dressing gowns and other little luxuries. The sort of fabric that makes the inside of a garment every bit as interesting as the outside.

Care & washing
Allow 2-10% shrinkage to be on the safe side. Wash the fabric before making up, in the same way you'll wash the finished make, drying methods included, so it settles once rather than after it's sewn.
