A superb 100% cotton velvet woven in Italy by Pontoglio, one of Italy's renowned velvet makers, in a rich, deep purple. The beautifully dense pile has an exceptionally soft hand and a subtle lustre, shifting from dark aubergine to a brighter jewel-like purple as the light moves across it. At 150cm wide, this is a substantial, beautifully finished cloth with the depth of colour and unmistakable handle you expect from a really good cotton velvet.

This is made for garments with a bit of occasion about them. Think tailored dinner jackets, blazers, waistcoats, suits, trousers, structured skirts and cocktail dresses. The cotton composition gives it a pleasingly natural feel, while the velvet pile brings richness without needing anything else to make an impact. A fabulous Italian cloth and certainly not one to save only for Christmas.

• Please allow 2-10% shrinkage on fabrics to be on the safe side. Wash before making up in the same manner as you would with subsequent washes (including drying methods)
• Please test a sample area first to find the most suitable way to wash your chosen fabrics, as we cannot accept liability for fabrics washed or treated incorrectly.
• Whilst every effort is made, we cannot guarantee that the colours you see on your screen are accurate because every screen shows colours differently.

Delivery

Processing Your Order: We aim to dispatch all orders within 1-2 working days. Our team is dedicated to ensuring your order is handled with care and sent out promptly.

UK Delivery:

Royal Mail Tracked 48 - 2nd Class Delivery: This is our standard Royal Mail service. Delivery is typically estimated at 2–3 working days from dispatch, although times can vary.
Royal Mail Tracked 24 - 1st Class Delivery: A faster Royal Mail option, typically estimated at 1–2 working days from dispatch. Please note that this is not a guaranteed next day service.
Courier Delivery: We offer a courier service via Parcelforce for customers requiring a faster delivery option. We aim to dispatch eligible orders placed before 1pm on the same working day, but this cannot be guaranteed. Courier delivery is generally expected on the next working day following dispatch. Orders placed on Friday may not be collected until the following Monday. This service is tracked.

We process orders Monday to Friday, so weekend orders begin processing the following Monday.

We want you to love your order! If you’re not completely happy, you can return items within 28 days of receiving your order.

Please note that fabrics are cut to order, so a restocking fee may apply. Some items are non-returnable except where faulty or not as described.
