Strisce - Taupe & Grey

A fabulous Italian 100% wool knit with broad alternating stripes of warm taupe and soft marl grey. The colours have been particularly well chosen: natural and understated, but with enough contrast to make the stripe stand out. There is a lovely knitted texture to the surface and a soft, warm handle, while the wool has that reassuring substance you want from a fabric intended for proper cold-weather clothes. It feels cosy without becoming cumbersome and has natural give in both directions.

At approximately 371gsm, this is a substantial knit with enough body for cardigans, jumper dresses, relaxed jackets and coatigans, as well as oversized jumpers, pullovers and cosy layering pieces. The stripe could be used traditionally or played with across different pattern pieces, and we'd be very tempted by contrasting horizontal and vertical sections. Woven in Italy from pure wool, it's warm, handsome and immensely wearable – exactly the sort of fabric that makes us rather look forward to colder weather.

• Please allow 2-10% shrinkage on fabrics to be on the safe side. Wash before making up in the same manner as you would with subsequent washes (including drying methods)

Delivery

UK Delivery:

Royal Mail Tracked 48 - 2nd Class Delivery: This is our standard Royal Mail service. Delivery is typically estimated at 2–3 working days from dispatch, although times can vary.
Royal Mail Tracked 24 - 1st Class Delivery: A faster Royal Mail option, typically estimated at 1–2 working days from dispatch. Please note that this is not a guaranteed next day service.
Courier Delivery: We offer a courier service via Parcelforce for customers requiring a faster delivery option. We aim to dispatch eligible orders placed before 1pm on the same working day, but this cannot be guaranteed. Courier delivery is generally expected on the next working day following dispatch. Orders placed on Friday may not be collected until the following Monday. This service is tracked.

We process orders Monday to Friday, so weekend orders begin processing the following Monday.

We want you to love your order! If you’re not completely happy, you can return items within 28 days of receiving your order.
