Supreme Silk Lussuria

A spectacular Italian ex designer 100% silk, woven in a fine hopsack construction that gives the surface a little more texture and presence than you might expect from such a lightweight cloth. Across the warm khaki ground is an exuberant botanical print, with oversized painterly flowers and foliage in blazing orange, turquoise, teal, emerald, yellow, cerise and inky blue. There is so much going on, yet the earthy background pulls everything together beautifully. It looks more like a piece of artwork than a conventional floral.

At approximately 85gsm, it remains light with a lovely fluidity, but the fine hopsack weave gives it enough character to really showcase the scale of the print. This is the fabric for the dress everyone asks about: think a sweeping maxi, dramatic kaftan, statement shirt, wide leg trousers or a simple column dress where the silk does all the talking. It would also make an extraordinary lightweight jacket or luxurious oversized scarf. With silk of this calibre, we would keep the pattern relatively uncomplicated and give those enormous flowers as much uninterrupted space as possible. You certainly won't disappear into the background wearing this one.

• Please allow 2-10% shrinkage on fabrics to be on the safe side. Wash before making up in the same manner as you would with subsequent washes (including drying methods)

Delivery

Processing Your Order: We aim to dispatch all orders within 1-2 working days. Our team is dedicated to ensuring your order is handled with care and sent out promptly.

UK Delivery:

Royal Mail Tracked 48 - 2nd Class Delivery: This is our standard Royal Mail service. Delivery is typically estimated at 2–3 working days from dispatch, although times can vary.
Royal Mail Tracked 24 - 1st Class Delivery: A faster Royal Mail option, typically estimated at 1–2 working days from dispatch. Please note that this is not a guaranteed next day service.
Courier Delivery: We offer a courier service via Parcelforce for customers requiring a faster delivery option. We aim to dispatch eligible orders placed before 1pm on the same working day, but this cannot be guaranteed. Courier delivery is generally expected on the next working day following dispatch. Orders placed on Friday may not be collected until the following Monday. This service is tracked.

We process orders Monday to Friday, so weekend orders begin processing the following Monday.
