Taffeta - Festive Wine

This gilded red taffeta dressmaking fabric showcases an elegant swirl and star pattern. Perfect for creating wonderful fabric advent calendars, place mats, table fancies and decorations. This wonderfully festive deep red cloth will make fabulous party garments, such as dresses and skirts with complimentary or contrasting linings.

Taffeta is a distinctly crisp, plain woven cloth with a faint weft or filling-way, rib due to the greater number of warp threads than filling threads. It holds its shape far better than most fabrics and its non-stretch quality means it will not “sag” or drape. Fabulous qualities that come in handy when designing elaborate ball gowns, corsets and interior decorations.

• Please allow up to 10% shrinkage for all fabrics to be on the safe side. For all fabrics wash before making up in the same manner as would with subsequent washes (including drying methods).
• If you are in any doubt about care instructions please always test a sample first to find the most suitable way to wash your chosen fabrics, as we cannot accept liability for fabrics washed or treated incorrectly.
• Whilst every effort is made, we cannot guarantee that the colours you see on our screen are accurate because every screen is calibrated differently and settings are set differently.

Standard UK mainland delivery from £4.95, with express options and same-day dispatch available at checkout. We process orders Monday to Friday, so weekend orders begin processing the following Monday.
