Some fabrics try very hard to look expensive. This one simply is. Woven in a deep charcoal shade with a tiny contrasting fleck running throughout, it has the sort of understated character that reveals itself the closer you look. The surface texture adds interest without being busy, giving garments depth and a quietly refined appearance.

At 260gsm this polyester suiting has enough weight to hang beautifully whilst remaining easy to handle and sew. It doesn't slide around the cutting table, presses well and recovers from creasing remarkably well. The drape is ideal for wide-leg trousers, relaxed tailoring, overshirts, unstructured jackets and skirts where you want movement without floppiness. A practical, hard-wearing cloth with a surprisingly premium feel.

• Please allow 2-10% shrinkage on fabrics to be on the safe side. Wash before making up in the same manner as you would with subsequent washes (including drying methods)
