Description
At 370gsm, this is a substantial, beautifully structured cloth with a reassuringly robust handle. The vivid yellow-green shade is particularly good at lifting darker interiors, bringing colour without needing a complicated pattern.
With a 35,000-rub abrasion test result and a fire-retardant finish, this is a practical fabric with plenty of personality. It would make fabulous statement cushions, smart bench seating, upholstered headboards, window seats and other decorative furnishings, subject to the relevant fire-safety requirements. The basket weave adds interest without competing with other prints, while the charcoal backing gives it a pleasingly substantial feel. Pair it with dark grey, navy, natural wood or crisp white for a striking modern scheme. Not exactly a shy and retiring fabric, but that's rather the point!

Allow 2-10% shrinkage to be on the safe side. Wash the fabric before making up, in the same way you'll wash the finished make, drying methods included, so it settles once rather than after it's sewn.
