Designers Guild - Meadow Leaf

Beautifully understated, this 100% cotton furnishing fabric from Designers Guild features delicate sprays of little leaves scattered across a warm latte-beige background. Each leaf is softly outlined in charcoal grey, with pale ivory detailing that gives the print a lovely hand-drawn quality. The colour is a gorgeous mix of taupe, oatmeal and soft beige, with a natural, linen-like appearance that feels both elegant and relaxed. Part of the Designers Guild Country collection, this is a substantial woven cotton weighing 220gsm, with a smooth printed finish and enough body for beautifully structured furnishings.

There's a lovely simplicity to this design that makes it incredibly easy to live with. The small, repeating leaf motif adds interest without dominating a room, while the warm neutral colouring would look gorgeous alongside natural wood, cream upholstery, stone and earthy tones. Perfect for curtains, Roman blinds, cushions, loose covers and window-seat cushions, it has that timeless country-house charm without feeling old-fashioned.
