Description

Centuries of trade along historic routes brought trousers from Asia, traversing the Middle East to Africa. This pattern features three timeless designs from Turkey, Africa, and India. Perfect for casual wear or cultural attire, with elastic or drawstring waist and ankle variations. Includes historical context and embroidery designs.

Turkish Pants feature a gathered waist and ankles. African Sarouelles, sized for men and women, offer a simple drawstring waist and tapered legs with gussets. Indian Pants feature gathered legs and wide hip panels, embellished with machine embroidery.

Recommended Fabric

For the Turkish pants, opt for lightweight, luxurious fabrics with drape like rayon challis, chiffon, or gauze. For African and Indian pants, select medium-weight fabrics such as cotton, silk, rayon, wool, or blends.

Royal Mail Tracked 24 - 1st Class Delivery: A faster Royal Mail option, typically estimated at 1–2 working days from dispatch. Please note that this is not a guaranteed next day service.
Courier Delivery: We offer a courier service via Parcelforce for customers requiring a faster delivery option. We aim to dispatch eligible orders placed before 1pm on the same working day, but this cannot be guaranteed. Courier delivery is generally expected on the next working day following dispatch. Orders placed on Friday may not be collected until the following Monday. This service is tracked.

We process orders Monday to Friday, so weekend orders begin processing the following Monday.
