Gentle Grey - Modal Shirting

A lightweight modal-blend shirting fabric in a soft, putty-grey tone, with a smooth surface and a fluid drape that gives it a relaxed, understated look. The cloth feels cool and silky to the touch, with a gentle weight that allows it to fall neatly without clinging.

At 125gsm this fabric sits comfortably in the lightweight category, making it a strong choice for shirts, blouses and softly structured dresses. The modal content adds softness and movement, while the polyester gives a little extra stability and ease of care. It’s straightforward to sew, presses well, and works nicely for everyday garments where comfort and wearability matter.

Standard UK mainland delivery from £4.95, with express options and same-day dispatch available at checkout. We process orders Monday to Friday, so weekend orders begin processing the following Monday.
