Description
Some fabrics are simply too good to play down. This luxurious Italian coating has all the hallmarks of something rather special, with a beautiful blend of 80% wool and 20% cashmere and a wonderfully soft, brushed finish. Rich burgundy red checks run through a moody mixture of charcoal grey, black and subtle greenish tones, creating a striking design with plenty of depth. At 300gsm, it has enough substance for winter outerwear without being excessively heavy, and the cashmere gives it that lovely softness you really want to get your hands on.
Imagine this made into a beautifully tailored winter coat with generous lapels, a smart cropped jacket or a sweeping cape. The bold checks do much of the work for you, while the softly brushed surface keeps everything looking beautifully understated. There's a certain designer quality about this cloth, and we're not naming names, but let's just say it wouldn't look out of place on a rather expensive Italian catwalk.

Care & washing
Allow 2-10% shrinkage to be on the safe side. Wash the fabric before making up, in the same way you'll wash the finished make, drying methods included, so it settles once rather than after it's sewn.
