Milano Cord - Wine

A gorgeous Italian ex-designer 10 wale corduroy in a rich wine shade, with plenty of depth and warmth without straying into a bright red. The 10 ribs per inch give it that recognisable corduroy texture while keeping the surface smart and well defined, and the direction of the pile creates lovely shifts between deep burgundy and softer wine tones as the light moves across it. At 366gsm, this is a substantial cloth with a soft, velvety face and excellent body.

Made from 97% cotton with 3% elastane, there is less than 5% stretch across the weft, providing a small amount of comfortable give while the warp remains stable. Wine lends itself beautifully to autumn and winter sewing: think wide-leg trousers, a fitted jacket, pinafore, button-front skirt, waistcoat or even a complete cord suit. It's a particularly handsome colour for this weight of cord and would look fabulous with cream, camel, navy, charcoal or pale blue.

• Please allow 2-10% shrinkage on fabrics to be on the safe side. Wash before making up in the same manner as you would with subsequent washes (including drying methods)

Delivery

UK Delivery:

Royal Mail Tracked 48 - 2nd Class Delivery: This is our standard Royal Mail service. Delivery is typically estimated at 2–3 working days from dispatch, although times can vary.
Royal Mail Tracked 24 - 1st Class Delivery: A faster Royal Mail option, typically estimated at 1–2 working days from dispatch. Please note that this is not a guaranteed next day service.
Courier Delivery: We offer a courier service via Parcelforce for customers requiring a faster delivery option. We aim to dispatch eligible orders placed before 1pm on the same working day, but this cannot be guaranteed. Courier delivery is generally expected on the next working day following dispatch. Orders placed on Friday may not be collected until the following Monday. This service is tracked.

We process orders Monday to Friday, so weekend orders begin processing the following Monday.
