Oil Finish Tin Cloth - Tan

Dry finish tin cloth in a warm tan yellow shade, offering a more distinctive take on traditional waxed cotton. The colour sits between golden tan and muted yellow, giving it a practical but slightly more characterful look than standard neutrals.

At approximately 400gsm, this is a seriously heavy-duty fabric with a dense, protective feel. It’s designed for durability first, making it well suited to hard-wearing outerwear, protective layers, and utility projects. The dry finish gives it a firmer, less oily handle than traditional waxed cotton, while still providing strong water resistance against the elements.

This is not a lightweight or casual cloth - it has real structure and weight, ideal for jackets, coats, bags, aprons and outdoor coverings where strength and longevity matter. Over time, it will develop creases and wear patterns that add to its character.

⚠️Due to the nature of this fabric we are unable to provide refunds on any returned wax cotton. Therefore we recommend you purchase either a sample where possible or half a metre quantities to ensure you are completely happy with your fabric.

The roll price is £30 for postage. However, if you’re happy for it to be folded please proceed as normal. By folding it will come with crease marks on the folds.

• Please allow 2-10% shrinkage on fabrics to be on the safe side. Wash before making up in the same manner as you would with subsequent washes (including drying methods)
• Please test a sample area first to find the most suitable way to wash your chosen fabrics, as we cannot accept liability for fabrics washed or treated incorrectly.
• Whilst every effort is made, we cannot guarantee that the colours you see on your screen are accurate because every screen shows colours differently.

Delivery

Processing Your Order: We aim to dispatch all orders within 1-2 working days. Our team is dedicated to ensuring your order is handled with care and sent out promptly.

UK Delivery:

Royal Mail Tracked 48 - 2nd Class Delivery: This is our standard Royal Mail service. Delivery is typically estimated at 2–3 working days from dispatch, although times can vary.
Royal Mail Tracked 24 - 1st Class Delivery: A faster Royal Mail option, typically estimated at 1–2 working days from dispatch. Please note that this is not a guaranteed next day service.
Courier Delivery: We offer a courier service via Parcelforce for customers requiring a faster delivery option. We aim to dispatch eligible orders placed before 1pm on the same working day, but this cannot be guaranteed. Courier delivery is generally expected on the next working day following dispatch. Orders placed on Friday may not be collected until the following Monday. This service is tracked.

We process orders Monday to Friday, so weekend orders begin processing the following Monday.

We want you to love your order! If you’re not completely happy, you can return items within 28 days of receiving your order.

Please note that fabrics are cut to order, so a restocking fee may apply. Some items are non-returnable except where faulty or not as described.
