Description
British worsted wool with this sort of handle is a real treat. Woven from 100% worsted wool, this exceptionally fine cloth is just 180gsm, giving it a light, beautifully fluid feel with the smooth, clean finish associated with good worsted suiting. The colour is particularly special: somewhere between warm camel, golden tan and soft tobacco, with a subtle mélange effect that gives it far more depth than a flat brown or beige.
Lightweight yet beautifully composed, it lends itself to fine trousers, softly tailored jackets, waistcoats, skirts and elegant lightweight suits. At 150cm wide, there is plenty to work with, while the refined handle makes it especially appealing for garments where you want wool without heaviness or bulk. Understated from a distance, much more interesting up close – this is fabulous British cloth and the colour is difficult to find elsewhere.

Care & washing
Allow 2-10% shrinkage to be on the safe side. Wash the fabric before making up, in the same way you'll wash the finished make, drying methods included, so it settles once rather than after it's sewn.
