Description
Rich cherry red with a gorgeous satin sheen, this 100% polyester satin-backed crepe is a real showstopper. The colour is somewhere between raspberry and deep cherry red, beautifully vibrant without being too bright. At 210gsm, it's a lovely medium-weight dressmaking fabric with a smooth, fluid drape and enough substance to hang beautifully. One side has a glossy satin finish that catches the light, while the reverse offers a more understated crepe appearance, giving you two lovely finishes to work with.
Perfect for occasion dresses, evening gowns, elegant skirts, wide-leg trousers and glamorous tops. The weight makes it particularly good for draped necklines, soft folds, bias-cut styles and flowing silhouettes. This is definitely a fabric that deserves to be taken somewhere nice!

Allow 2-10% shrinkage to be on the safe side. Wash the fabric before making up, in the same way you'll wash the finished make, drying methods included, so it settles once rather than after it's sewn.
